SAT52 for nylon recycling and glassfiber reinforcement has been tested last week
A set of SAT52 ordered by an Israel customer had been accepted after a successful shop test. This line is supposed to recycle nylon meanwhile add glassfiber for reinforcement. Nylon scraps will be fed through main feeder and glassfiber will be added through a side feeder to avoid strength loss due to the over-shearing of glassfiber.
The capacity of SAT52 (52mm diameter) is able to compare with traditional 75mm diameter twin screw extruder due to its higher specific torque. So SAT series twin screw extruder will dominate the market of plastic compounding and modification.
